Size Guide

Find your training fit.

Use Motiona size guidance to choose activewear that supports movement without distraction. Start with body measurements, then adjust by fit feel for compression wear, sports bras, leggings, athletic pants, shorts, performance hoodies, training shirts, and running layers.

Measure with intent.

For the cleanest fit, measure over light clothing or directly over base layers. Keep the tape level, close, and comfortable, then compare your numbers with the size chart below.

Point 01

Bust and chest

Measure around the fullest point while keeping shoulders relaxed. For sports bras and fitted tops, use the snug measurement.

Point 02

Natural waist

Measure the narrowest part of your torso. This helps select leggings, shorts, joggers, and high-rise training bottoms.

Point 03

Hip line

Measure around the fullest hip point with feet together. Prioritize this number for leggings and compression bottoms.

Point 04

Inseam

Measure from the inner leg to the ankle point you prefer. Use it to choose full-length pants, cropped leggings, or running layers.

Core body size chart.

Use inches as a starting point. If you sit between two sizes, choose the smaller size for a compressed training feel or the larger size for a more relaxed athleisure fit.

Adjust by product type.

Different activewear categories are designed to feel different on the body. Use the size chart first, then refine your choice by training intensity, support preference, and layering needs.

Sports Bras Choose a secure fit through the band and bust. For high movement workouts, avoid extra room at the underband.
Leggings Prioritize waist and hip. The waistband should stay smooth when squatting, stretching, or running.
Tops Training shirts can follow chest size. Size up for relaxed gym wear or layering over compression pieces.
Hoodies Choose your regular size for a clean athletic layer, or size up for a looser warm-up silhouette.
Shorts Use waist and hip together. Check the rise and inseam preference for running, studio, or strength work.

Fit feel by movement.

The best size is not only a number. It should match your training rhythm, support preference, and how you want the silhouette to look before, during, and after movement.

Compressed support

Best for high-intensity training, running, and secure studio movement where the fabric should stay close.

  • Choose true size when measurements sit inside one range.
  • Size down only if you prefer a very locked-in feel.
  • Check that seams do not pull or dig in.

Balanced active fit

Best for gym sessions, yoga, daily movement, and clean athletic styling with comfortable stretch.

  • Choose the size matching your strongest measurement.
  • Keep waistbands smooth when bending or sitting.
  • Use this fit for most Motiona essentials.

Relaxed layer fit

Best for hoodies, joggers, warm-up pieces, and athleisure sets worn over base training layers.

  • Size up when layering over sports bras or compression tops.
  • Choose regular size for a sharper city sport silhouette.
  • Leave room through shoulders and hips for movement.

Choose the smaller size for a closer compression feel or the larger size for easier movement and layering. For leggings and sports bras, prioritize the measurement that affects support most.

Performance leggings should feel secure but not restrictive. If the waistband rolls, seams strain, or fabric feels overstretched, try the next size up.

Choose your regular size for a clean athletic profile. Size up if you prefer a roomier warm-up layer over sports bras, training shirts, or compression tops.

Use both waist and hip. For compression leggings, the hip measurement often controls comfort through movement, while the waist controls hold and rise feel.
